Savings and pricing

How do you save me money?
We use our buying power and relationships with trash companies to get your business access to wholesale pricing. That means lower rates negotiated through the scale we bring, not just asking for a discount on one bill. We handle the price changes for the same containers and service, put rate locks in writing, and check the bills that follow.
How do you get lower pricing?
Our leadership oversees waste programs for more than 40,000 locations nationwide. That scale and those relationships give us buying power a single location does not bring on its own. We use it to get your business access to wholesale pricing, whether you run one shop or a chain.
What do you mean by wholesale pricing?
Wholesale pricing means lower rates negotiated through buying power and relationships with trash companies. We give your business access to those rates. Your price depends on your location, containers, pickups, and contract. We show you the bill reduction, our fee, and the savings you keep.
How much does Waste Certified cost?
The bill review is free. We only get paid when you save. Our fee is a share of the savings we can show on your bill. You see the old bill, the new bill, our fee, and what you keep. Your savings agreement spells out our share and how long it applies. No savings, no fee. Read more on how savings work.
How much can you save my business?
We need to review your account before giving you a number. Savings depend on your pricing, fees, contract, and service. Some accounts have room for a reduction; others may already be priced well. We measure the price change for the same service and separate the bill reduction from what remains after our fee.
Can't I just do this myself?
You can call your trash company yourself. The difference is what you bring to the table. We bring buying power, long-standing relationships, and a team that handles the rates, fees, contract terms, and bills that follow. You do not have to build those relationships or manage that work. We only get paid when you save.
Are all the extra charges on my bill wrong?
No. Some charges reflect real services, contract terms, or required taxes. We check what each charge is for, whether it matches your agreement, and whether it can be reduced or removed. We challenge unnecessary costs without treating every line on the bill as an error.

Contracts

I'm already stuck in a contract. Can you still help?
Yes, we can review an account that is still under contract. Lowering your bill does not always require ending the agreement. We first look at billing issues and whether your current trash company will agree to better pricing or terms. The available options depend on your contract; a review is not a promise of an early exit.
Can you get me out of my waste contract?
Sometimes, but not every agreement can be ended early without a cost. We review the term, notice deadline, cancellation provisions, and any exit charges. Options may include a negotiated release, ending at renewal, or staying with better terms. We explain the costs before recommending a change. Keep paying valid bills while the account is being reviewed.
My waste company won't negotiate. What can you do?
A "no" to one account is not always the final answer. We use our buying power and relationships to take a specific price request to the right team. We also review fees and contract dates to find the next chance to lower the bill. We handle that work under your savings agreement. No savings, no fee.
Do I have to wait until my contract ends?
No, you can have the bill and agreement reviewed now. That lets us check current charges, establish an in-place pricing target, and identify the notice deadline before renewal. If the best opportunity is later, we explain the timing instead of treating a future saving as money already saved.
What if my contract has already renewed automatically?
We review the agreement and renewal details to see what options remain. A renewed agreement may still be open to a negotiated change, but renewal does not automatically create a right to cancel. We also identify the next notice deadline. Any legal dispute over the renewal needs advice specific to your agreement and location.
Will I have to pay an early termination fee?
Possibly, if you end an agreement early. We review any stated exit charges and include known one-time costs when comparing options. We do not assume another hauler will buy out your contract. If a buyout or waiver is offered, it needs to be confirmed in writing before you rely on it.
What if my trash company will not speak to a broker?
We review your agreement and confirm how our team can work on the account. If your trash company needs to speak with you directly, we prepare the pricing request and guide you through that step.

Service

I don't want to change my hauler. Can you help?
Keeping your current hauler is the standard approach. We target better pricing for the containers and service you already use. If changing providers becomes necessary, it is handled separately under your savings agreement, not treated as an ordinary pricing adjustment.
I don't want to interrupt my service. Will anything change?
A bill review does not cancel your pickups. Our standard pricing work keeps your containers and service in place. If a hauler change becomes necessary under your savings agreement, we coordinate service dates and container arrangements as a separate transition.
Will you cut my pickups or give me a smaller dumpster?
No. Our cost-reduction work compares the same containers and service at a different price. We do not shrink the dumpster or cut pickups to make the savings look bigger. A separate change in service is not counted as a like-for-like rate reduction.
What happens after you negotiate a lower bill?
We put the agreed rate locks and fee protections in writing, then check monthly invoices against those terms during the monitoring period. If a charge falls outside the agreement, we challenge it and follow through. Your savings agreement explains the monitoring period and how invoices reach our team.
Do I need to approve every change?
No. Your signed savings agreement authorizes us to carry out the work and account changes it covers. We do not send each rate adjustment or fee correction back for another sign-off. We keep you informed. Hauler changes are handled separately under the agreement's terms.
Can my trash company raise the price again?
We secure written rate locks and fee protections covering a defined period and set of charges. We check invoices against those terms and challenge increases outside them. The written terms explain any permitted changes or exceptions and when the protection ends.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Any business that pays a commercial waste bill: restaurants, retail, offices, medical, industrial, construction, property management, franchises, and multi-location portfolios. If waste and recycling are a line item, the review applies.
Do you handle dumpsters, compactors, and roll-offs too?
Yes, as a separate service project. Our savings comparison keeps your containers and pickups the same, so a smaller dumpster never poses as a rate reduction. If your equipment or schedule truly does not fit your business, we identify that as its own project with its own costs.

Company and process

What do you need from me to start?
Start with a recent trash or recycling bill and the hauler agreement if you have it. We confirm the account details and arrange the savings agreement that authorizes our work. Once it is signed, we get to work within that authority.
How long does the review take?
Days, not weeks, for a typical single-site account. Multi-location portfolios take longer depending on how many invoices and contracts are involved, and we give you a timeline up front.
Is the WasteSavings calculator showing my actual savings?
No. It shows an example based on the inputs and assumptions displayed with the tool. It is not a quote, a negotiated rate, or proof that your bill contains an overcharge. Actual savings require a review of your bill and agreement, available pricing, and our fee. See how the estimate works.
What experience does Waste Certified bring?
Our leadership brings 20 years of waste experience and oversees waste programs for more than 40,000 locations nationwide, from large chains to local mom-and-pop shops. We put that scale and those relationships to work to get your business access to wholesale pricing. Learn more on our About page.
What does it mean for my bill to be Waste Certified?
It means our bill review and agreed pricing changes have been documented and checked against an invoice. You can see which charges were removed or reduced, which still apply, and the rate we negotiated. We then monitor monthly bills against those terms. An uploaded bill is not certified just because a file was received. Read our Certified standard.
Is Waste Certified a government or outside certification?
No. Waste Certified is our company name and our own bill-review standard. It describes the checks we perform and document, not a government approval or an outside accreditation. Read our Certified standard to see what is reviewed and what the completed review covers.
Who owns WasteSavings.com?
WasteSavings.com is a bill-review landing page owned and operated by Waste Certified, LLC. It lets businesses explore an estimate and request a free review. WasteCertified.com is our main company website. Bills submitted through WasteSavings go to the Waste Certified team; WasteSavings is not an independent review or rating service.
Why choose Waste Certified?
You get buying power, access to wholesale pricing, and a team that handles the work. We negotiate the price, put rate locks in writing, and check your monthly bills. We only get paid when we can show savings on your bill. Our fee is a share of those savings. No savings, no fee.
